A little bit about me - I was born and raised in Orange County, California but have also been so lucky to have lived in some of the most beautiful places including Santa Barbara, Burlington, Vermont, and San Diego. By day, I’m a full-time mom, an educator, project manager, program planner, and all-things colleges, but with the support of my partner, family, and friends, I also get to do what I truly love - calligraphy & crafting!

Back in 2017, I was living in Los Angeles and was feeling very overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of city life and needed a new hobby that could help me relax while also giving me a creative outlet. That was when I searched Amazon for all things calligraphy - brush pens, markers, paper, and a handy dandy modern calligraphy book. Now here we are! I made things official in August of 2021 and launched Created by Queena. Since then, I’ve invested in A LOT of craft tools on top of calligraphy supplies - including a Cricut machine and heat press, hand engraver, and my largest investment yet - Gloria, my laser engraving machine. However, I discovered my true passion in live events and brand activations, where I get to work with some of the most amazing clients on-site!

I am all about helping others bring their creative vision to life - whether it’s through a custom calligraphy piece or raising awareness of a brand through a live activation.
